A native New Yorker, Alexandra Talty is an award-winning journalist and writer.
She‘s reported from five continents, filing stories for Outside Magazine, The Daily Beast, Playboy Magazine, Forbes, The National, Food Tank and Civil Eats, among others.
Based in the Middle East for five years, her work documenting LGBTQ rights in Lebanon won an LA Press Club award. In 2016, she was the founding Editor-in-Chief of StepFeed in the Middle East.
A National Press Foundation fellow in Food and Agricultural reporting, she wrote an agricultural column for her hometown newspaper, The Southampton Press.
She is also currently turning that reportage into a book about sustainable food systems in America.
